Really sharp framing on the 'fraud is still fraud regardless of the tool' point. What strikes me most is how this parallels the whole printing press debate back in the day - we never legislated against the press itself, just what people did with it. I've def seen this pattern with every new tech, where legislators try to regulate the medium instead of the behavior, and it always backfires. Spot on with the First Ammendment aplicatons here.
