Really?? It's fine for the state to stick its nose into the number of women vs. men a company hires? Not in my book! That only leads to the kind of micromanagement which the authors rightly deplore here.
Don't like your employer's workplace rules or environment? Get another job or become self-employed. Anything else is inconsistent with a free society.
So depending upon who is in power , what we're facing is just different flavors of authoritarianism.
