Last summer, a former student journalist asked the University of Michigan’s student paper The Michigan Daily to take down or anonymize an article they had written more than 10 years ago.
I don’t like the idea of ‘journalists’ venting their views anonymously. To me, it means their opinions are just that - unfounded attacks without real substantiated facts. There is too much of that in our media today.
I get if your ideas and beliefs change but not owning them when you still believe them is cowardice. Everyone else's should sacrifice for your cause except you?
